An unbelievable high-flyer dominates the LCK with an incredible KDA

They've had a good time in the Summer Split.

The LCK 2023 Summer Split was launched on June 7th, and after the first week of play, a top laner became dominant all the time, gaping most of his competitors.

The top laner at the Kwangdong Freecs started with one of the best starts of the split and boasted 35,0 KDA in four games, according to statistics site Games of Legends. His goals and his goals were nearly 15; he died only once in four games against DRX in KSante, according to Games of Legends.

The numbers don’t stop there. At 45 minutes the Korean player is the highest in gold and CS, while in second place all top laners have the highest damage rates, whereas in the second minute the average total will be 235 cents.

To make a comparison, most top laners average up to eight oct. per minute, and their damage share averages lower than 25. Only two other players, the NS RedForces’ top laner DnDn and the OKSavingsBank BRIONs Morgan, are above that threshold. The player with the second highest KDA ranked among top laners in Dplus KIAs Canna sat at 6.9.

Dudu and the entire KDF lineup delivered promising performances during the first week of the split, quickly surpassing DRX and BRO. While the two aren’t considered strong lineups, KDF were convincing in their victories and looked much improved from the previous split and seem like a team in a playoff division.

In a recent interview with Korizon Esports, head coach Kim cvMax Dae-ho confirmed his realistic goal is to finish in the top six. In the past few months, the team has been polishing their base mechanics and now has everything to play the macro game. Having said that, he added that his teams are among the highest of the past year in order to improve their defenses.

With eight weeks left, Dudu and KDF still have the time to see if they have what it takes to fight the top teams. They will have their first test in Week two on Wednesday, June 14th. If they can take Gen.G, then KDF might be the real dark horse of LCK Summer Split.
