Brigitte finally can give some well-deserved head pats in Overwatch 2

Blizzard are bringing a great deal of new changes to Overwatch 2, which will be available from tomorrow till next month. From cosmetics to new game modes, season five needs to have something for everybody.

A certain loved furry friend, especially for Brigitte fans, will appear in an eye-opening new cosmetic for the hero.

All right, after three years without a cosmetic presenting them to Brigittes, the beloved giant fluffy white cat Mitzi will finally appear again. This time Mitzi may be able to gain a bit of well-deserved pets at the end of the match with the latest victory pose in Brigittes.

The Overwatch 2 team confirmed on Twitter on June 12 that this victory pose is actually included in season five, and that players can rob the Brigitte dog Mitzi. This cosmetic is a winner pose, but you can’t pet Mitzi at any time like you can with Brigittes other cats emote. To win first, and eventually, to take pleasure in pets.

The challenge of the victory will be a part of season five battle pass, which now features a new way to strengthen the progression experience. The new battle pass also features an entire treasure chest of new skins and other cosmetics with a fantasy/medieval theme.

The last time Mitzi was spotted in a cosmetic was in Brigittes Katt emote. This shows Mitzi being picked up by the hero, his belly with the cats, on the camera. Mitzi meows and makes quiet and noisy noises through the emote – highlighting the love that Brigitte and the cat have with each other. The emote was released in march 2020, and over three years ago.

Although it is possible, Brigitte is known as a catlover from childhood. In her intro story, published in the beginning of 2018, we learn that some of Brigittes first tried to build armor on the Lindholm family cats.

Out of the Katt emote, only one of Brigittes cosmetics features a cat who is assumed, but not confirmed, to be Mitzi. The Mounted Combat spray is an optional addition for Brigitte mains or cat lovers who like to join forces.

Although the best way to get pets in best conditions, Mitzis classic armored horns don’t appear on the cat in the most recent victory pose. And for what, shell is doing with the fight yet.

Whether you enjoy chonky cats, fancy cosmetics, or Brigittes lore and personality, her new victory pose is certainly worth the price a bookmarked item from the five-week battle pass.
