This piece of film set the foundation for long-awaited horrors and Slenderman and Paranormal Activity as direct descendants of the 1984 classic. Today, the Greyhill Incident: Originally released from Xbox, PlayStation and PC, a piece of the pie wanted to throw aliens into the mix.

Greyhill may look like your usual ho-hum neighbourhood, but it’s with a dark secret: residents believe aliens live among them and fear ratting to the police, as they may be policed as they deceived. In Greyhill Incident: Abducted Edition released today in PS1 and X|S and PS5, following your trip to Japan a few days ago. That’s what I hoped was a long-serving friend, Ryan Baker. Upon arrival at Greyhill, he aims to help out a neighbor in terrible danger.

With the gun, and without a lot of work, Ryan must navigate the unfriendly roads and search the houses and barns for ammo and clues to his neighbour’s whereabouts. Greyhill Incident is being dark and lighthearted, but you’ll hope they’re putting their lights on the village, who’s incredibly dimly lit, but still adds to the terror.

Soon enough, you’ll find out that the residents told the truth. As far as Greyhill remains, they’re abundant, with their ships awe-inspiring as they petrify them. What a flying saucer is flying at over the sky is so annoying.

And the aliens who are coming and coming from every corner, and sometimes ganging up, are of the classic variety big foreheads, empty black eyes, and weird skinsuits. They’ll go down with some weaponry, or some well-timed blows, while you should have in mind, but you’ll be able to quickly become overwhelmed. Stick to the shadows, seek refuge from the few neighbours who are willing to speak and spend some time solving puzzles to keep up.

• CLASSIC ALIEN STORY The recent increase in paranormal activities over the past few days convinced the fearful, now paranoid residents of Greyhill, that the Aliens are among them. They trust nobody. The small neighbourhood of Greyhill afraid to speak up and fearing that they would go to the psychiatric ward so they won’t call the police. They prepare by boarding their windows and allowing the neighbourhood watch.

• PUMPT UP HEX, HEY, RAKE GARD, eee. Invest in houses & barns and pursue a hobby while you walk away and discover the alien consensus.
• BEWARE OF GREYS The task is involuntary, because they get together to stop people coming from the village, take all kinds of experiments and investigate the situation, and also get people to test. Wear a jumper or a fight, and beware of the Greys.
