Game Inbox: Xbox Series X beat PS5 in sales, Star Wars Outlaws, and Assassins Creed Mirage nostalgia

The Tuesday letter collection begin to pick holes in Xbox Games, since one reader doubts Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora will be hit.

Power BalanceSo its pretty unanimous that Xbox won this summer’s round of showcases, eh? For me there’s no doubt that that was easily the best event I have ever seen Microsoft put together, and the PlayStation Showcase was the worst ever that Sony has ever done. I have no idea what Sony is playing at, and I can’t explain what they are going for.

Maybe that might have an impact on Activision Blizzard but the idea that Sony will influence decisions based on what new games it shows seems very stupid to me. Not in the sense that it’s not necessary, but if Sony do the right thing to shoot themselves in the foot then they deserve everything they get.

The next test for Microsoft will be the difficult: making sure these games are actually goood. Im already tense about Avowed, and While Clockwork Revolution seems a good idea, I don’t really know how to execute it on it. I also have negative feelings about Starfield, especially the obvious terrible dialogue.

The major question for me is Fable, which has never been a very good series, but since this is a brand new game and a developer in the end of the world. The film is interesting. However, I don’t think we really learned anything about this game. If they can pull it off though, and Xbox has the same Zelda equivalent, then the balance of power really will have begun to shift.

Not quite a game that scoundrelubisofts looks good, but sometimes im completely surprised, and disappointed, at how similar it is to Star Wars Jedi. The same cute Swiss army knife, companion non-talking, a similar looking act and a similar looking open world, and just a general feel that isn’t very different. Both of these are Star Wars, obviously, but I thought a game about the seedy side of the Star Wars universe would be, you know, seedy.

I agree with the GC that the main character seems a bit too nice, even though the guy is implying that she becomes mean and cynical as the story goes on, it might be interesting. I wasn’t really sure of what the developer was able to do for that.

If I was doing that, I wouldn’t have gone with a named character at all, I would’ve made it a proper role-playing game where you can create the character of different species and types.

I mean, what does Kay get smuggle? Spice, otherwise space based drugs? They seem to have not truly committed to the entire underbelly of the galaxy thing and everyone will end up with a superfriend fighting the Empire.

I think it’s fine to go backwardsAssassin’s Creed Mirage, but I’ll be at it again. Like you said, the first game was in fact very good. Besides my own pre-playing game, we thought I should turn the clock back and do them all again, just with better graphics don’t appeal.

I’m sure they’re modernised to a degree, but it’s a backwards step for me. I would rather turn that series into something else again rather than simply show it back to what it used to be. I think the truth is that there’s no real artistic decision going on here, just they saw Ghost of Tsushima doing well and they needed something quick this year. I doubt it’ll have much influence on future games.Today: Moon and Tanya say that’s a big role.

Hey family, aren’t I the one who thinks the new Prince of Persia game look good? A core platforming and combat look great if you take that stage and feel like that is what a lot of 40-somethings think will appeal to 14-year-olds. Like a platforming version of Devil May Cry or Bayonetta, which I hoped I would all find. They don’t know much about the trailer, but we still could take some Metroidvania elements.

The Lost Crown is pretty good, and it’s pretty beautiful.

Avatar OutlawsA great show from Ubisoft. I feel they get a lot of criticism from gamers over the years, with respect to the nature of their success. Star Wars Outlaws was very impressive but looks really successful. With Starfield impressing also, expect a lot of sci-fi themed games.

Even though it was borrowed from Far Cry, I thought avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora also impressed me. Even though I’m not a huge fan of that movie, I think that I’ll probably enjoy Avatar more as a video game. The art style and Avatar capabilities certainly lend themselves to a video game format. I want more games than those that are used to the fight.Anon is not a game, but analogue.

One-man showExpectations are a blessing and curse. For the uninitiated, Im of course refering to Sunday’s Xbox Showcase, which sufficiently exceeded my expectations. I’ll mark this chapter in stating that Starfield, by Bethesda, was the absolute highlight of the event. When PlayStation showcased the smallest possible thing and disappointed the fans, I had literally landed an airplane from Dubai to Bali. I do like to share my thoughts about the Xbox 360.

Avowed looks confusing and if I’m honest, a discounted and elitist Skyrim looks like a bootslip. Im not very sure what its trying to be. Hellblade 2 was barely visible, only Senua walking slowly and the voices sound. It was a bit disappointed again.

The lack of visible footage is impossible, so we can’t know anything about it. However, I think it will probably be lacklustre, as it used to be for the franchise as a whole. Starfield seemed fantasticly electrifying and was definitely the highlight of everything. That’s what Spider-Man 2 should have been seen, and I can say that this is as a breath of fresh air. The conditions appear great. I love being excited to see which choices will eventually have consequences (looking at you Fallout 4).

As a result, im still quite upset to see Alan Wake 2 only confined to the digital release. It’ll mean less copies sold for Remedy, and it could backfire. I still enjoy him. Hi god.Shahzaib Sadiq will be great.

If the original video isn’t on the back of I will play Starfield, it’s free, but it’s quite certain that it’s being massaged and carefully edited. These shows are exciting, but I wouldn’t believe anything I saw in them.

If a publisher says something is real gameplay or run some consoles, who will prove it wrong? I can’t tell you how it would be to trust this ditty.

I started from zero on the Xbox Games Showcase and I’m still starting to lose some of my enthusiasm. That Avowed didn’t look good, like an Off-brand Skyrim, and I really didn’t like Starfield at all, but the graphics.

Fable seemed pretty good and Clockwork Revolution, but it is definitely going to be an wait and see approach for me. Which makes me realize that Microsofts real problem here is they have yet to develop a certain amount of trust.

Nintendo announces a game and nine times out of 10 will give them the benefit of the doubt that its good. Sony is pretty all right for you (maybe dropping down to eight out of 10 for me). Microsoft, what do you think? Since what is at this show I wouldn’t trust them to tie their own shoelaces, nor would they even trust anyone else.

Although you are only the best one to take on your last game, even if they can build their reputation with these gamest they announced then they could change things pretty quickly. Next year will be an exciting time to be a gamer.

The play of the Avatar is fine but I don’t really see anyone interested. It seems to me that the movie is never sold and I doubt that that’ll be a different one.Wrexis18.

There isn’t much more to it than that Star Wars Outlaws game sure was well. They really start to get in touch with next gen consoles (easy, I assure that trailers are on a PC).
