Google’s iPhone 8 vs. Aroged gets a big camera upgrade

Googles Pixel 8 is going to be a camera spectacle with a series of improvements, including the main and wide-angle cameras. It also comes with a new sensor.

New sensor for ToF.

The Pixel 8 Pro also has access to an upgraded ToF (Time of Flight) sensor, the VL53L8 from STMicroelectronics. According to the report, this is a “88-ToF” sensor. This should be a significant improvement over the 11 sensor on the Pixel 7er and the base Pixel 8. That was not the only choice, and therefore, the cheaper model of the Pixel series was omitted.

Primary cameras

The primary camera is the only thing that both phones are equally interested in. Both the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro feature Samsungs 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN2 camera. This is easier than the GN2, which the GN2 is compared to the Pixel 7 model. This means that this sensor can shoot photos and videos with more detail when it is under poor lighting conditions.

This camera can also record 8K video. This is likely the case with the Google S3 chip. It is not known whether it will be possible to shoot eightk video. According to previous rumors, Google is going to stick to the supported video formats of the Pixel 7 series for now.

There is a built-in temperature sensor.

The temperature sensor is what leaked earlier, too. This is specifically for an infrared temperature sensor. With this sensor, you can measure your temperature, by moving the Pixel 8 Pro in a few seconds. The thermometer does not come to the regular 8.

Finally, the selfie camera doesn’t have to be changed for both of them. This sensor isn’t quite a feature at Samsung.
