Toyota finally make us think of ourselves: electric cars with a totally mind-blowing autonomy

Toyota has just released its plans to conquer the electric car market over the next few years. The Japanese company plans to offer a single price car in a range of more than 1,000 kilometers. Toyota has just unveiled its plan to enter the electric car market over the next few years. The Japanese company plans to offer a single charge a car for a range of more than 11,000 kilometers.

As we know, Toyota has never really believed in electrics and had already told us why a few months ago. Although its boss Akio Toyoda has given way to Koji Sato, things get worse slowly; the brand wishing to develop its product of low-emissions cars, while adding new hybrids.

Ambitious autonomy

And precisely, the Japanese firm has already announced plans for the future and announced new innovations in a press release. What have they done? Get over the electric with its already well-established rivals. For the record, Toyota is only offering its bZ4X in Europe, which was a bit painful and was just reviewing its price list. In China, the manufacturers also have the right to buy a new bZ3.

Since then, the technical director of the class, Hiroki Nakajima declared that the mark is determined to become a world leader in battery batteries. As stated on the automotive news Europe website, the latter announced that the next generation of lithium accumulator will be illuminated in 2026. The aim of this project is to increase the number of electric cars with the ability to drive up to 621 miles, also about 1,000 kilometers. An average of 10 to 80 percent would take just 20 minutes.

In 2026 and 2027, it is going to be a new technology: LFP with a new way of designing anodes and cathodes. Hopefully, this battery will make the bZ4X more or less autonomous, while exhibiting at 450 km per cycle of the WLTP, reduce the cost of the battery by around 40 percent. This is a lot, since the price of an electric car depends mainly on the price of the battery.

Another two-hour tyre is expected to come as long as the years 2027-2028. For a pricey-looking model, it needs to help save that much money. That one will not stop in such a good way, but it is working on a robust battery, too. The first of two of these are now in 2027 or 2028; although a series leader did not expect to be able to launch any series before the end of the decade, few experts are currently waiting for it.

With one hundred km on the end of the decade, 1,500 km will converge.

The new version of the new system is expected to arrive around 2027 / 2028 and let other manufacturers cold sweat. And if you are just right, Toyota has set up a range of 932 miles, which is equal to around 1500 kilometers, in a single charge. According to Toyota, the solid-state batteries could recharge in a matter of just a minute, while the cost of lithium-ion technology should be significantly lower. That will likely affect the price paid by customers.

The manufacturer wants to amplify new models, and, in turn, compete with Tesla. Toyota is making a massive effort to build its own SUVs, which will represent 600,000 of the 1,7 million expected by 2030. Another ambitious goal, which can be achieved in the short while in which the development time can be reduced, is drawn inspiration from chinese brands.

The Japanese firm, too, wants to have a look at what it’s like to make cars, as Tesla does it also wants to do. It aims to reduce the number of parts, to lower production costs and speed up the production process. Toyota has also developed a robotic driving technology so it could be able to move autonomously in its factories, like the BMW already.

The new model will appear in the picture later. As always, we know this alternative isn’t necessarily very clean, but Toyota thinks in this fuel. On the other hand, there’s no word about e-fuel which genuinely doesn’t interest the manufacturer, which makes no sense because the hybrid is always derived.

Cars that consume more energy eat less.

And, over all, Toyota wants to create a very aerodynamic car, aiming to achieve an ECD (drag coefficient) of less than 0,2. For now, the fastest air in the world is the Lucid Air, whose icing of 0.197 is a very good feature, so it will significantly limit its consumption when it is hit by the speeds of high speeds. It’s exactly what Ford wants, but also something else. That makes it possible to reduce the energy consumption and therefore to offer longer autonomy, with larger batteries. Which makes the electric cars even cleaner.
