Sony apparently working to solve PSN outage troubling PS4 players with NP-34958-9 error, license verification and locked games

PS4 (PlayStation 4) players reported issues about their console including NP-34958-9 error, license verification glitch & more.

Recently some players reported they are unable to verify their licenses on PS4 and getting prompted to buy a primary account from the console.

In the case of children trying to set primary account, players get a callback code, NP-34958-9. So, it appears that the ongoing matters are closely related to each other.

Sony was working to address a PSN issue.

The company hasn’t talked about that in public since the issue was reported for days. Many reports suggest Sony is trying to fix these problems.

Numerous users have been working with Sony to report the problems. Some responses acknowledged that the team was aware of the problems and actively work to solve them.

I heard this calling with the guy. He told me the engineers are in fact able to talk and get a hold of everything in my apps over the next 24 hours. I got so upset (Source)

When I called the company yesterday, they told me that the engineers were aware of the problem and they’re working on it. We have 4 ps4 in our house. Two second’s as secondary, so they have only the lock on all of the apps, which means they can’t do anything. I will try the DNS Codes a little, so hopefully that’ll work!

Unfortunately, there isn’t an estimate time for the fix, as Sony is still not giving official details about the matter at all.
