PayDay 2 update broke SuperBLT or triggered crashing, reset course side jobs & locked players out of Copycat (potential workaround inside) (trials)

Overkill released an update to PayDay 2 and introduces bug fixes to certain known issues. There is also a new tyre that can help with play across PCs.

In the update, the problem of the failure of Rami Suppressor and Dourif Muzzle to the Miyaka 10 Special SMG relates to this issue. The compromise between the compact-5 and the Compact-5, the incompatible mods could be used.

This latest patch also fixes graphical errors that appeared when one was holding the Xamatos.50-cal Sniper Rifle or tried to use a mod on the Plated AR magazine.

It seems that the recently patch also introduced some issues.

PayDay 2 update damaged the SuperbLT or caused crashes, reset event side jobs.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) multiple PayDay 2 players are experiencing frequent crashes after the recent update. It was reported that the latest patch also broke the SuperBLT mod.

And as far as their troubles go, now we should deal with the loss of stability, the lack of server connectivity and slower loading times. Notably some are still able to run the game on their Windows machines.

Gamers also assert that event side jobs aren’t being marked as completed, preventing them from accessing rewards.

This issue became more important as the recent update, making it impossible for people to get different cosmetics and perks.

Game did not start after reinstalling. I had to remove WINSOCK32.dll for the mods to get it to start. Now COPYCAT and all the side job unlocks are locked. Apparently, I used a little more money than the latest McShay 4 DLC and I don’t want a gun. I have also put it together the Deimos gun with some modifications on it. Source

Guys that’s an awful problem when today’s update dropped my game. but no when it crashes, and then after this update it was good! Is this issue with windows 11. Source

Also, players are already seeing issues using the twit to take turns on their Christmas side job.

Even though they can launch the game after deleting the WINSOCK32.dll file, the two main jobs are locked.

Since the recent patch has made many issues worse, gamers still do not. Those affected are now asking the developers to do this to help them enjoy playing the game as they wanted.

Potential workaround

We’ve got found an idea for a solution for your problem. It is advised that you remove both the WSOCK32.dll and IPHLPAPI.dll files from payday 2s.
