In spite of the serious damage of a server issue, the game lost a lot of Madden NFL 23 Franchise saves. To recover all the lost data, a large portion of the saved will not be saved.

In an email sent by EA Sports they detailed the circumstances that led to the server issue and announced the compensation plan for those who lost their Franchise mode saves.

The offer included a 50% discount on the purchase of Madden NFL 24 for all players who experienced save losses. But the effectiveness of this compensation offer has been in doubt.

Some players report that they aren’t receiving the discount email despite the fact that they had the problem and have no right to it because their friends received it in the same league.

Others initially received the discount offer, but they encountered a separate issue when the discount suddenly disappeared from the main menu at the game’s (1,2).

On Thursday, a promotion was found to offer my favorite Madden 24-deluxe edition for 50% off from the main menu in Madden 23. The promotion will gone by now. I wonder where it went because of the just disappearance of me. Source

The unexpected elimination of the discount gave players puzzled and unsure whether they could still take advantage of the compensation offer.

Over time, a large number of players had trouble converting the discount to switching consoles or platforms because they used to play Madden NFL 23.

These players play the game on a different console last year, but have now now switched to a PC or a mobile device.

The discount offer has been tied to the original console, on which the claim was made, thus making it virtually useless to people who no longer have access to the console.
