During his time at Riot, Murphy pioneered an event-incentive funding plan and brokered a deal with Rocket Mortgage and the Detroit Sports Commission to deliver the LCS summer finals to Detroit. This event had an economic impact of $5.44 million. As well as representing Riot Games at sports and travel summits, he has established collaborations with the convention and visitors bureaus, travel providers, hoteliers and other arenas to create the Riot Esports platform.
